CHARLTON ATHLETIC
Charlton Athletic are a cuddly South London club that are infamous for almost losing their ground The Valley when faced with financial difficulties. As a result of this they wound up in a ground share with Crystal Palace, something I don’t think I would wish on my worst enemy.

GILLINGHAM FC
Gillingham are a low level football club on the outskirts of London with an unfortunate “pikey” reputation.
Growing up the first time I heard about the club was when they featured in the only book at my primary school library about football. Inside the book there was a Q&A with a player called Mark Weatherly. As kids we were literally “Gillingham, who are they?”

WEST BROMWICH ALBION
This is a team nicknamed “the Baggies.” From the start this does not encourage confidence in the side.
Unfortunate for them they have tended to live their existence in the shadows of Aston Villa and Birmingham City. Very unfortunate.

PORTSMOUTH
Portsmouth are a South coast club with a jaded history who currently appear destined to fly into oblivion.

PLYMOUTH ARGYLE
Plymouth are a team that play in green from the South West region of England where things are strange and people are funny.
Always talk about Tommy Tynan.

BARNET FC
Barnet are one of the smallest clubs in the football league. When they do anything of interest I will be sure to tell you about it.
